Our Story
​
Big Six SubCon Group Inc. is a Service Disabled Veteran Own Small Business (SDVOSB). The Company is a co-op of individuals with special skill sets in six different industries as shown in the flow chart above. These individuals are license contractors in their industry. The Company is aiming to build a first class federal and state contracting business with great people and happy government clients. The Company first stage of the business will be to register in SAM and become a SAM qualified federal and state contracting company in the six industries which the Company specializes in. Each of the Companies six industries will have a Project Manager. The Project Manager is an individual who has years of experience working in his or her industry and owns his or her own company in that industry or is currently working for a Prime Contractor in his or her particular industry. Project Managers will search for open contracts in their industry on the FedBizOpps.gov website, bid on these contracts, write and submit proposals on them. After being awarded contracts from any proposal the Project Manager will fill the contract with his or her own company if he or she has the means to complete the task. If the Project Manager can not complete the requirements of the contract through his or her personally owned company they will then find a Prime Contractor in their network that has the required license, equipment and work force to complete the task Correctly and On Time. If needing to sub the contract out to a Prime, the Project Manager task is to oversee the progress of the task and bring to the attention of Big Six SubCon Group Inc. any short falls or concerns that the Prime Contractor hired to do the work may have in completing the task.
